Every superlative possible can be used after that performance. ๐Ÿ’™

Great result. Long may they play like they're playing. That said, Montpellier had called a taxi to the Airport by the 60th minute. The French clubs have a strange attitude to this competition given the power play they took part in a couple of years ago with the English clubs to tear down the Heineken Cup. They only seem half bothered. I can see an Anglo/Irish final this year.

Not to take away from Leinster's performance but it's embarrassing, much as it was last weekend in Paris. All that palaver about who qualified and how they qualified and the French still can't be bothered to turn up. Well done Leinster.

One of my the most enjoyable games for pure rugby joy and skill I've been to in years. Freezing cold and still on fire!! Leinster are back! what a team I'm so excited by all the players...Leo has such dilemmas Great for leinster Great for Ireland ๐Ÿ’™

Was actually bored last week at the RDS because it was so one sided and yet, 7 days later, another one sided match and I leave the stadium on cloud 9๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ya gotta love this team and their average of 9 tries a game in 2017 but if they don't keep this up I'll be looking to get Matt O Connor back asap๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

Where do I begin to tell the story ๐Ÿค” I am trying manfully to keep my feet planted very firmly on the ground but it's bloody difficult as I should, by rights be in orbit around Mars by now. I won't touch upon the techie stuff I'm sure our Lord and Master Mr Pagano will do that with his usual panache. In my humble opinion this match was won (by us) and lost by them in that second quarter. Although the red card had an obvious influence on the game I believe this was only in respect of the scoreline rather than the outcome. Let's not forget we were 21-3 by that time and Steyn's hit on Jonny was born out of frustration at Montpelier's inability to deal with our tactics, which brings me nicely onto my next point. If you watch enough rugby you can pretty much opine how you would deal with the opposition, in this case extremely powerful and fast men. In the buildup I thought to myself (a) quick tempo (b) turn them around (c) keep the ball away from their wings (d) attack the fringes of the breakdown and don't allow them forward momentum. I'm sure SL and LC thought of far more. But there is a huge difference between devising tactics and their eventual implementation and didn't our boys deliver them with a bonus to boot. People will point to the red card (mentioned above) and this was a French team away from home. In my view neither applies. The red card only dictated the points differential not the outcome and as far as French, well Foufou Ouedraogu and Martin were the only ones. Don't let the score deceive you this was no walkover. The fact that Montpelier only scored 3 points is down to our tenacity in defence not for lack of trying on their part. They just couldn't break through even with 15 men. This does not mean we are going to win this competition neither does it mean we are the finished product but by God we're heading there at pace. Now it's a matter of peaking at the right time. Finally two post match interviews: Jonny made two very important points firstly highlighting and praising SL's influence and secondly alluding to this (Leinster) being a good place to be in again. Great credit must go to Leo for his humility at allowing SL to run the show and secondly chapeau to Stuart Lancaster. The point about this being a good place again I think alludes to the MOC years. The other interview was Joe Tomane. If anyone is in any doubt as to how much this hurt the proud Montpelier players watch it. He was brutally honest and I felt really sorry for him poor lad. Finally, #COYBIB we're 4 wins away from a 4th star. Thank you for giving us Leinstertainment back. Christ I've gone on a bit ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. From the Leinster Rugby embassy in Gibraltar have an awesome weekend. Slan ☘๐Ÿ‰

Great to see Leinster playing like days of old. With so many youngsters coming through things look good for the future.

Buzzing!!!! Unreal performance and still haven't hit top gear. So, so exciting!

Strong, determined and confident from 1-23. There's some quality rugby being played by Leinster. 18 tries scored in 2 games (and none conceded in either game). There's real hunger there. And a definite sense of the team working well for each other, epitomised by Conan passing back to Byrne who had already done so much for that particular try.

Conor Cronin

Great performance by the entire squad. Utterly ruthless in punishing the opposition. Great defending a few times on the line not wanting to give up a try. Leinster often allow teams back into games with a try etc when we have built a lead. This team just went at them from the start to the stop. No loss of concentration or performance, just a desire to score as many as possible. Such a young team too. Respect to the entire squad and coaching staff, you deserve it.

Andrew Potts

Totally unfair that Zebre were made to play two away games at the RDS in consecutive weeks... what's that?
Montpellier?
Really?
Jake White's expensively assembled Montpellier?
Aye, right, yeah, pull the other one ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm more positive about this Leinster team than any team in years.Red card aside they dominated and never took their foot off the gas. Squad is looking deep.

Noel Hewson

The meat and 2 veg O'Connor days are receding nicely in the rear view mirror now. Loving the new model Leinster.

Wayne O'Brien

Turns out the match against Ulster was better preparation than we thought...

This was outstanding tonight back to playing 15 man rugby and laying off ball at speed the difference under Leo is we keep going putting on points some times we didn't even do this under Joe well done lads on the field and well done Leo and all the coaching team
