Hopefully this stops the runaway hype. We're still a very, very good team, but Toulouse came up with a fantastic performance. Still, 1-4 away is not the worst result, gives us a great chance to still come out ahead in the head to head.

Well we tried Tomane in his preferred position and to say he was found wanting is an understatement. We brought a lot of this defeat upon ourselves, poor decision making in crucial areas, sloppy handling and too many missed first tackles. As an aside I thought the pitch was sub standard, very poor condition

Don't want to be down there in the knock out stages, they are back on the rise after a long time in the doldrums, a point away down there is never a bad outcome and with Toulon and Clermont not contenders this year its a slip that can be taken

Cracking game but unfortunately a disappointing result.......loosing away bonus point not to be sneezed at tho! Team worked their socks off to get back into the game and came soooo close! Lessons to be taken fron the loss but ultimately the drive for ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ continues! COYBIB!

So close, but not to be. A disappointing result but always hard to come back with all the points from France. Well march on. Allez Les Bleus !!!

Tomane poor but McGrath also has a lot to answer for. Picked off twice in key positions due to a total lack of awareness.

Maybe a disappointing for Leinster. Toulouse show'd the hunger to win. Thought the pitch was awful, cutting up all over the place which was not conducive for open running rugby. Leinster will correct their mistakes & win the return match at home.

JGP has been our best 9 this season. If nick McCarthy believes he can’t get ahead of McGrath the man needs a new career.

Never write off a 4 time cup winning club. Never assume a win in France will be a walk in the park. Never start a hype train after only the first weekend of a competition. It'll likely be a tougher route through the knockouts now if we get to them, but the easy way is no craic anyway. Félicitations Toulouse, bon match. 👏

Never got going in the first 20minutes all ways going to be very hard to get the win. Happy with the losing bonus point

Alastair McDermott 
Reality check, Toulouse did their home work and brought intelligence and intensity to the game. Lots of Leinster errors but much had to do with Toulouse asking the tough questions. Leinster did well to get back into the game but often undid the good with poor decisions and execution. Line out poor and fell off to many tackles.
