Online comments after Bath v Leinster

A selection of the “keyboard warrior” reactions after the full-time whistle of our featured matches of the weekend.

If you’d like to contribute stay tuned to our Facebook page for our “Feel free to leave your thoughts…” posts which show up around full time after Leinster & Ireland matches.

Richard Mifsud Seems like déjà vu including the JvdF try. Huge score line following a messy first 40. A mixed bag between sublime attacking and poor unforced errors. One consistent though, our D. That set the foundation and platform for the second 40 which showed a great improvement. Well deserved win. Well deserved POTM. Both JoB and Jordan have played very well in the two matches. We’ll need to get better moving forward and we will. One final comment and that’s hats off to the Bath faithful what great support 🙌🏻 Onwards and upwards #COYBIB

Conor Cronin For the second week in a row I'm saying that it's our mistakes that kept the scoreline from being better, and that it's great to see the foot on the gas and the effort being made for the full 80.

Good to see some of the younger squad members showing they are worth their place, JOB in particular. It's all out of our hands right now, but delighted to see the statement of intent and let's hope we get a decent seeding

Alan Murphy The one constant is the pitch in Bath has always been a marsh! Other than that the competition has been a bit of a joke this season. Some really poor teams across the two groups. Leinster played 3 games and scored 30 tries - and not a Zebre in sight. The Heineken Cup desperately needs a re-set next season.

Kevin OCeallaigh Leinster were so impressive. Weathered the storm and enforced their game on Bath.
Jimmy O’Brien is a bonus point on his own.

In a weekend where referees made many of the headlines for all the wrong reasons, a shout out to Andrea Piardi and his team for a really good refereeing performance. There’s not many can take a hit from both Garry Ringrose and Charlie Ewels and keep playing.

Andrew Potts Leinster did well but were a little unpolished fir the first quarter.
Johnny just started putting the ball in behind the rush and Leinster did the rest.

Fifth Star needed for the jersey

Noel Hewson Job done game time in the legs and hopefully no knocks. The team no one wants in the next stage.

Kevin Kelehan Creativity was brilliant, watched Bath playing bash ball for the first 5 minutes, then Leinster run half the length of the pitch on the counter, the story of the game. We are blessed to have such a long and renewable golden era at this club.

Odran John OBrien Unbelievable Rugby Union from Leinster today Bath bottom of the English League but no English team has done this to them*

(fact check - some have pointed out that Saracens scored 71 v Bath this season BUT they conceded 17 that day so our 57-pt winning margin beats their 54 making Odran technically correct...if it was anyone else but Sarries I probably wouldn't have bothered looking it up!!!)

Martin Lynch Played What Was In Front Of Them and Ran In Some Fabulous Tries . Roll On Play Offs

Many thanks to all who offered opinions.

Look out Monday for our match writeup JLP
