Online comments after Connacht v Leinster

A selection of the “keyboard warrior” reactions after the full-time whistle of our featured matches of the weekend.

If you’d like to contribute stay tuned to our Facebook page for our “Feel free to leave your thoughts…” posts which show up around full time after Leinster & Ireland matches.

Conor Cronin Lucky we weren't playing with 14 for longer, but with that said, the ref could've sent off a Connacht man more than once.

A win on the road, but not the comfortable cushion I'd want for next week. Need to be more clinical next week, and occasionally more patient. Can't wait to be at it!

Martin Loughrey Not the prettiest but the job got done. Connacht were well up for it and took the game to us. The ref was shite. I wouldn't even say biased. Just incompetent and took a lot of the fun out of watching that. JGP probably should have gotten red I felt, and Tracy got the ball on the line before it was squeezed forward, so that try should have stood. I also can't help but wonder do Connacht have an extra player called The Wind??!! Jesus the breeze played havoc with our kicks, bit not so much theirs. Still, a win on the road is a win on the road. Roll on next week.

Neil Keegan We have a game next week ladies and gentlemen

Can’t feckin wait!

Looking forward to welcoming our Connacht brothers and sisters!

Andrew Potts Showcase for Irish rugby, two well prepared sides going at it all night and created a nail biter. Leinster did well to close it out Connacht were unlucky to not make it stick.

Colin McConaghie Leinster will be very happy with the result but with current interpretation I really can’t understand his rationale for only a yellow for JGP. Could have changed the game. Too much back chat from both teams.

Garry Wynne Leinster really lacking a heavyweight second row but really the IRFU need to cop on, stop holding up Munster and give these Connacht lads more financial support for a sustained effort next season.

Robert Webster (reply to Conor Cronin) agreed, should have been a red but Connacht could and should have received at least 1 if not 2 yellows

Eugene Curley Once again a wonderful performance Connacht should have fell of the right side of Victory. Remember 10% of any game is what has happened and 90% of how you respond to it. Keep playing the game style for many victories await. Always a proud Connacht man.

Ian Frizzell Lots of people thinking the second leg would be a foregone conclusion. Not so. Next weekend will be tasty.

Many thanks to all who offered opinions.

Look out Monday for our match writeup JLP
