Rugby Opinion

Leinster moving up a gear. Well taken tries. Left themselves a bit open for the Ospreys tries, otherwise a good showing especially in the first half with some great rugby played. The boys are back.

Gerald Williamson

A good night. Lots of positive. Had a game plan and stuck to it. Good to see us playing like a team - team celebrations after each try were good to see, and suggest a shared focus and desire to succeed. Early days but is the Lancaster influence starting to show?

Andrew Bailey

Some great determination from the lads, kicking for the corner almost every opportunity, showing a desire to not only win, but score tries to do so. It was great to watch a team going for it rather than just kicking penalties. It meant an offloading style of rugby that can only be good for the lads. Disappointing to see us leak the tries we did, partially due to (what looked tron the north stand) a harsh "final warning" yellow card on Johnny, but massive positives to take from this. If we tidy up the line-out we will be playing some cracking rugby!

Conor Cronin

Good

Marconi Giampaolo

Some shaky moments in the second half but that was likeky down to the Ospreys having the extra man. Leinster seem to not be letting too much in during the second half anymore, already a huge improvement on previous games.

Cian Ormond

Looks like Lancaster is doing a good job already!

Aoibhin Kenny

JvdF's athleticism is a joy to behold. Thank God he's on our team!!!

Riocard Ó Tiarnaigh

Great first half poor second half. I'm worried about how many poor second halves we have had over the last year. Still tho happy with the BP. Had they have scored one more try they would have gotten 2 BPs which would have been a serious disappointment

Shane O' Brien

Pretty good but once again Leinster went a little soft rather then killing them off to make it a 40 pointer. So the Ospreys last feeling will be another ten mins on the clock and we might have got them. In a tighter match, who knows?

Andrew Potts

Many thanks to all who offered opinions.

Look out Monday for our match writeup JLP
