Italy v Fiji (8-0-review)

ITALY 19-10 FIJI

Much Irish interest in this test - as well as Ian McKinley’s fate-defying début, there was coach O’Shea, ref Lacey and we play Fiji this Saturday.  But despite all of that, it was a struggle to watch.  Prop Ferrari crashed over on 28m and Nakarawa evaded soft tackling to make it 10-10 before the break.  In the 2nd half Italy’s strong setpiece outlasted Fiji’s improbable offloading and McKinley capped his decent cameo with the decisive penalty in the dying minutes.
