Phenomenal performance from Leinster. Scarlets are a decent side and they had absolutely no response. Leinster are the real deal alright.

Another reigning champion DEMOLISHED!

All credit to Scarlets, because their form up to now has been good, but our starters & finishers in blue just stepped it up to another level 🤩

Gareth Craig

A superb TEAM effort. I haven't seen such a complete display since the 2nd half comeback against Saints in the Heineken Cup Final. Fardy well deserved MOTM but great displays from Henshaw, Sexton, McFadden & tbf JGP played well 😎😉

JUST FREAKEN AWESOME 😎

Joe Sheppard

The lads shut down the Scarlets early doors and that just put the bullet in them. They strangled them throughout, took any ideas away from them and squeezed until it was over

Like a python playing with a dying mouse

We say it every week but

Utterly brilliant. Great composure in both attack and defense with few players still missing. Scarlets looked slightly shaken by a pace and intensity of Leinster game and as against the Saracens the game was over after first twenty minutes of the second half. Bring on Bilbao.

Sebastian Brennan

Got the scarlets on the floor with the foot on the throat and never let them up. Fantastic performance against a top team.

Sean Ferry

No player too big for this Leinster side. This is the way rugby is meant to be played.

Garry Wynne

Well done to Leinster outplayed Scarlets in every department good luck in the final the journey was good while it lasted 👍

Taz Nicky Wayne Halliday

I have no thoughts or words😂😂See you all in Bilbao 😂

Brenda Hearn

I said a few weeks back Leinster needed to keep the penalty count down to keep scarlets out of the game, and sure enough, that's exactly what they did. Abd they then proceeded to be clinical and effective all over the park to polish off a quality side. Bilbao holds no fear for this squad

On route we have beaten leading Teams from the top14, the premiership champions, the holders of the European rugby cup, current champions of the pro14 and Leinster players are talking about finding another gear. It's set to be some final.
Let's hope it's Munster and finish out the club season with total Irish rugby dominance in Europe.

Niall Kerley

Smashed them. When we get in the 22 we turn the screw like we did under Joe. 4th star awaits us

Cian Greally

Different level fair play. Men v boys.

Hywel Davies

JGP put all my pre match concerns about him completely to bed, he had the best game in a blue shirt that I’ve seen. Meanwhile the Mean Machine rolls on.

Sean Michaels

Pack immense again. Scarlets couldn't live with our level of intensity. Ryan & Henshaw huge performances. FOUR STARS??💙💪 Hopefully Munster will have watched that & got even more motivation to win tomorrow

Jamie Donohoe

Bullied them up front. Set pieces were solid, breakdown was owned (against some of the best breakdown operaters going) and we just about won the collisions. All of that only leads to one result.

Dónal Foley

Nearly disappointed that scarlets never showed up. Scoreline looks so good though. May the better team win tomorrow so we can roll them over too!

Baz C. Ryan

Only Furlong in the pack started last year's pro 12 semi-final which we lost, and also started today, forwards win matches, our pack are miles ahead of everyone else at the moment. Backs are quite handy too!

Darren Crilly

Won all the head to head battles throughout the match ,dominated all aspects over the 80 mins

Philip Kennedy

As close to a perfect game of rugby you can get. Clinical & ruthless.

Richard Collumb

Impressive was the not just the ball retention and support for the carrier, but particularly the passing and offloading amongst the forwards. Total rugby was on display today. Here's to a similar performance in Bilbao!!!!

Many thanks to all who offered opinions.

Look out Monday for our match writeup JLP
