Ireland 71 - 10 USA

8 debuts.
A boatload of tries.
Seven million offloads.
That was a very entertaining, and very impressive, game.
The best part for me? No brakes were hit.
So much to be excited about.#IREvUSA
You can only beat what's in front of as they say, very solid performance, great to see some new faces, and some 'older' ones back in the groove for 80minutes! #IREvUSA

People will throw the quality of opposition at that performance but that was fantastic to see. An Irish team playing expansive rugby and the Irish fans seeing young players and what their potential is. That's what these summer games are all about. #IREvUSA

Really enjoyable game, that. Hopefully Ireland keep that style of play in future

With no Josh van der Flier on show today I’m having a very hard time picking a #MOTM 🤪

Could be any of Doris; Coombes; Casey, Baloucoune or Keenan but with 4 tries I’m going to have to go for Ronan Kelleher #RoKe

Appreciating it’s against a disappointing @USARugby side but you can’t argue against this performance by the @IrishRugby boys You play what’s in front of you and they did it well with 8 debutants #COYBIG #IREvUSA @HarpinOnRugby

FT: Ireland 71-10. Did not expect USA to lose by more than Canada today but the Eagles suffered their ugliest match for several years. Played the last 30 minutes with 14 men, but were getting trashed way before then with several maul tries killing them in the first half.

Well the beer still tasted good.

Score and opposition don't matter, I thoroughly enjoyed that. Why? Because the players clearly did. You'd have to dig deep to criticize this end to the test season for Ireland, esp with fans there. Plenty of talent to give us plenty of future selection headaches. #IREvUSA
