Probably should have scored more, but not too stressed. Bad conditions and a bit of rustiness, but Ireland created plenty of opportunities, more of which will be finished as they grow through the tournament.

The Welsh, on the other hand, can take little from that game.#IRLvWAL
Wales were gick. No sure where they go from here.

Still ...any Welsh over in Dublin for match... find a table full of Guinness and get stuck in. Good to have ye back in town.๐๐ป
Good win.

Wales weren't up to much in the end. They looked a bit lightweight and they weren't able to impact Ireland's breakdown possession.
Nice stuff from Ireland though, even if things got a bit janky in the second half. #IREvWAL
Sometimes I really don’t like rugby.

Like really don’t like it.#IREvWAL
I may be in a minority with this but Ireland were 'grand'. Maybe a bit better than grand. Wales were so far off the pace they made us look really great and we should have put that game away before half time.

Plenty of errors, it's clear Ireland have more to give. #IREvWAL
Pretty much a dream opening fixture from a coaching perspective. Good win, bonus point, no injuries, average performance, loads of stuff to work on to kill any complacency #IREvWAL

Very impressive Ireland performance. Wales very poor and could have easily been held to 0. BP win for the Irish, who for me showed exactly why they are the team to beat! #GuinnessSixNations #IREvWAL

I recall how dazzling the Scarlets were in attack under Pivac and Jones, but Wales look like they're wading through treacle. They require urgent improvement offensively. #SixNations

Def left points behind, but to say that after BP win isn't the worst start to a 6N. Aki, Conway, JVDF couldve been PotM but Mack a good shout, Sexton missed kicks but still controlled things as he does. Not best day for Wales. On to Paris with hopefully full squad. #IREvWAL
