Online comments after Leinster v Munster

A selection of the “keyboard warrior” reactions after the full-time whistle of our featured matches of the weekend.

Conor Cronin Allegedly, one of the teams playing tonight put out a B/C team. It sure as hell wasn't Leinster.

The better team in almost every area of the park, and even where we might have been about even, the work rate and the desire to be better made the difference.

How dare anyone in the Irish media say these players weren't our big guns. No one in this squad is a bit player, we are strong squad, no matter who plays. This was a deserved win.

Paul Smith Seriously! I mean Seriously !! Very few would have expected a performance and a win like that from a largely 2nd string Leinster in what was realistically a dead rubber game for us. It shows once again, whoever puts on that blue shirt, they will give nothing but 100%. Brilliant way to wrap up the league season and a special mention for Mr Larmour. I'm sure he'll be in the 23 next weekend after tonight. Pity about Frawley but he'll be back and pushing hard soon.

Greg Kelly An impressive victory given that Munster had apparently won with a 4 try BP in mid week.
Good to see Larmour back to his best and the younger guys really stepped up. Defence was physical and denied Munster space to play. Sad to see Frawley go off early though.
The gulf between the 2 provinces growing still. Leinster beating Munster with relative comfort and a 2.5 string team is not great for Irish rugby and raises yet more questions

Martin Loughrey That was a cracking game. Hopes weren't too high beforehand given the full strength Munster side with something to play for against a Leinster side made up of mainly 2nd and 3rd choice players with only pride on the line. But what a game!! The future is very bright indeed. Some decent performances from some of the younger players. Foley did well, as did Mckee, Osborne, Soroka and others. Really enjoyable game with a great result. Also, great to see Leinster getting a crowd of around 30K for what was hardly a critical game for us.

Andrew Potts Fantastic result for the squad.

It's this and the results in SA is where Leinsters success is built. Developing players by them getting game time, that game time results in experience and competition for places.

Leinster fans will have taken as much joy from this as the semi last week. Two 30k plus crowds in the Aviva in a week and both teams delivered big time..

Noel Hewson Fantastic win in a great game. Lots of great individual performances but the way Leinster execute the game plan regardless of the personal shows how good the coaching is right now. Hopefully a busy few weeks starting with a win in Marseille

Kevin OCeallaigh Munster will never forgive us for beating them when we didn’t need to! What a performance. In any other team, Scott Penny would be pure box office!

Also: Jordan Larmour…Great Googly Moogly!!!

Ronan Egan They were lucky they didn't end up with another few weeks in South Africa ...Great to see all the departing Leinster Boys putting in huge performances ...Connacht will be some team next year with the influx of players from Leinster on top of their impressive squad

Gav Hegarty So which province's B team was playing?
And that, dear Munster, is how a professional rugby team plays. Take it and learn from it.

Craig Grehan This game still maintains Carberry is better than both Byrne brothers. However, not as good as healy to bring the pace and attacking platform.

Many thanks to all who offered opinions.

Look out Monday for our match writeup JLP
