HoR highlights July 15-21

• We introduced some more columnists during the week…first was Felix McCabe who will keep us up to date on the English Premiership.
• Then Sarah Lennon stepped up with her first piece on Women’s Rugby in Ireland.
• The Halftime Quiz has had a facelift and we discovered the Grand Prize in the first game of the new season.
• If you’re free next Friday you can watch some Leinster rugby stars shout “HOWZAT"!
• Twitter follower count is up to 3257 – most retweeted offering was this about the new #rugbyunited blog.
• Some Leinster fans were peeved when Dublin Bus took away the 47 bus route; they want it back.
• I had a midweek look at Leinster A’s pool opponents in the British & Irish Cup.
• The Ulster representatives in next year’s Roots & All project said hello.
• Then our Ulster Rugby guy Kristian Ross ran the rule over the provinces’ new signings.
• Keego was concerned the use of steroid may not be confined to the Olympics & Tour De France.
• Facebook likes are up to 834 – hottest topic was Eliota’s latest idiotic tweet in the wake of the Aurora shooting tragedy.
• Friday evening saw 7s rugby on the telly, I watched and penned a brief report.

Sadly on Saturday my laptop started to act funny.  It’s working right now but I’ll need it checked out during the week, so I have decided to take something of an “off season break”.  I will still have articles from contributors coming in so stay tuned for them, but the “full service” won’t be restored until next Sunday.
