JP Morgan 7s - Group A

I LURVE this tournament.  I just wish they'd have one here in Ireland to help make the off-season shorter!

Doesn't have to be for all the Pro12 teams, but I can't see how one night with the four provinces playing round-robin like the four are tonight at Twickenham Stoop wouldn't be a success for both spectators and TV alike?  Doesn't have to involve the top players, just use the academies - I very much doubt the fans would mind?

Anywho...here's how they panned out...

GROUP A FIXTURES
London Irish 7s 14-21 Harlequins 7s(7:30pm)
London Wasps 7s  12-19  Saracens 7s(7:55pm)
London Wasps 7s  7-46  London Irish 7s(8:25pm)
Harlequins 7s  0-33  Saracens 7s(8:50pm)
London Irish 7s  14-12  Saracens 7s(9:20pm)
London Wasps 7s  0-35  Harlequins 7s(9:45pm)

After looking forward to this all day I switch to ESPN to see women's tennis instead of 7s. So one and a half games were missed, but I saw enough to know that London Irish (complete with Tomas O'Leary and Conor Gaston) and Saracens had done enough to dispatch Quins and Wasps. Tom Homer and James Short were the standout players on the night. Oh, and Laura Robson is through to the semis in Palermo.
