Brumbies 32-15 Waratahs (8-0-review)

Two Aussie sides packed with top drawer talent produced a scrappy first period where the visitors’ poor discipline got them two yellows (probably should’ve had more) yet they still went into the break level at 8. The score-matching continued in the third quarter until a powerful shove by the Brumbies pack forced a penalty try and a late broken play move finished by Nigel Ah Wong sealed a deserved victory. These certainly did not resemble Michael Cheika’s 2014 champion Waratahs.
