Hugely impressive by Ireland. Japan looking a shell of their former selves and a copy of their former former selves.

On the attacking skill shown today in the #IREvJPN game, the players have always had that level of attacking ability. It's been the coaching / game plan that's prevented them from playing like this before.

That was fun. Everyone was excellent. Bring on next week. #IREvJPN

Mr. Hirose said that there was an earnestness (or dedication) in Ireland. That was what Japan have lacked today I think. Disappointed more than embarrassed. #IREvJPN

Japan classy as always. Ireland's defense were just so focused that Japan never had a chance to start playing. Obviously not having a lineout platform at the moment makes it hard to get anything going. Joseph will need to bat clever at this set-piece now.

What happened between the Australia game and this one? Ireland played almost perfect game, but the Brave Blossoms caved up rather quickly

Yes Japan were poor but that doesnt guarantee this scoreline that nobody expected. Centres & backrow put in top notch work on top of team offloading. My only issues are 1 or 2 lineouts and Carbery prob couldve had an extra 10. Not sure I'd change starting XV much. #IREvJPN
