Online comments after Ireland v Argentina

Conor Cronin It took a while but eventually a strong performance. Slow ruck speed was killing us though.

Good to see some players getting game time, might have been worth starting a few more inexperienced lads though, and putting faith in them regardless of the starting opposition
Paul Smith Another dominant display. ftom Ireland. A day for the forwards today wrt to the tries but all the players put in a shift Furlong was MOM for me but Carbery, VDF and Lowe all in with a good shout too. I hate to be negative especially towards a player who has given do much but I think we are seeing the end of Murray who was very slow and predictable today and seemed to want to default to box kicking mode whenever possible. Great to see the likes or Baird, Sheehan and Casey getting game time too. All in all a great way to wrap up the international season.
Reenen Stenekamp Argentina didn't look like they had any interest in playing rugby today. A pity. Ireland was on top of it though. Whole game long. Lifting themselves to this level after last week's intensity is really applaudable. Ledesma is probably going to dust off his CV after this year.
Noel Hewson Big day from the forwards. Fourlong was my MOTM he was everywhere. Good series across the board and lots of positives. Roll on the 6N it will be tough but no one will fancy playing this team if they keep up this level of performance
Paul Walsh Murray was too slow, and kicks way too much. Great to see speed in the team when Murray went off. Solid performance by the team though.
Donal O'Brien Not as good a performance as the last two weeks but a higher score margin. Much slower at the ruck. I don't think Joey controlled the game as much as he should be doing at this level. He did well individually though.
Louis Hoffman Great to see so many youngsters get a run.

John Merrigan Casey brings a lotta speed just like stringer did, Murray & boxkicking 👎
Gav Heg The slow ruck speed I think was sped up when Casey came on. Murray is now a week link
This was the game that Joey needed, I think he did well, some of his tackling was excellent.

The more I see of Sheehan the more I think himself and kelliher will push each other for a long time.
Overall not as good as we wanted but still a good win. Nice to keep them scoreless for 78 minutes.

Our defence was simply great. They were pushed back each time which forced them to aimlessly kick away possession, this is how we can beat any team.
