On our last pod I got views from fans of Leinster, Munster & Connacht on Ireland’s Six Nations campaign so to complete the set this week I spoke to Ulsterman Ian Frizzell who looked at our chances for the big match at Twickenham on Saturday. And while I had him on I guess it would have been rude not to also get his thoughts on a certain rearranged top of the table URC clash at the Kingspan later that same evening.

For the next few weeks we’re returning to our Opposition View pods where I talk to fans from teams Leinster are facing in the URC and Europe to see what it’s like from their end of the pitch, so this time the chat was about Ulster from last weekend and Connacht who are coming to Dublin on Friday. Also this week we have a collection of tributes on the career of the great Rob Kearney.

I’m going back to my Lions Selector Panel one last time before the squad is announced on May the 6th only for this round instead of going one on one I’ll be getting XVs from them three at a time. We also talk about women’s rugby plus a tiny bit of Rainbow Cup as well, though I should point out that we chatted before the announcement was made that the South African teams weren't travelling.

To start the build up to Saturday’s Guinness Pro 14 final, in the latest of our “Opposition View” series of chats I invited Ulster fan Ian Frizzell onto the pod to talk about the last meeting LEIvULS a couple of weeks ago, that amazing comeback in Edinburgh, and how he reckons they’ll line up at the Aviva this weekend.

I’ve said it before but I have no problem saying it again...it is awesome to have the rugby back.  We've done plenty of harpin on Leinster’s narrow win over Munster last weekend - in case you missed our writeup you can find it here.  Now it’s time to turn our attention to the match against Ulster on Saturday evening, and providing us with an opposition view is long time Ulster fan Ian Frizell, or @rava_ian as he is known on the Twitter machine.  We discussed what went wrong against Connacht and also what players could feature at the Aviva next time around.
