Corrigan Brothers celebrate Brian O 'Driscoll's International Retirement in Song
The Corrigan Brothers, the band from Limerick Ireland whose first hit "There's no one as Irish as Barack Obama" made them International YouTube Stars and saw them chart all over the world as well as performing for President Obama celebrate the International Retirement of Brian O 'Driscoll by rewriting Joan Osbournes (What if God was on of Us) for BOD. Guitarist with the band Brian Corrigan said " If I were to pick an inspirational sporting hero , a great role model and a player of exceptional skill then it has to be Brian O'Driscoll. He is the best player ever to wear an Irish Shirt!. We felt that we had to celebrate him in song. We hope to perform the song live for him after the France game as we will be recording in France next weekend".
Now that BOD IS gone from US- Corrigan Brothers
Now BOD is his name,
and it has to be
a player of such grace
as we were faced
with him
in all of his glory
who will replace him
is the only question
And yeah yeah BOD is great yeah yeah BOD is good
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Now that BOD is gone from US
He'll be missed by all of US
All the things he's done for Us
In games Away and games at Home
Look at BODs face
and all his desire
to play with such passion
and light up the fire
of Ireland's Glory
who will replace him
is the only question
And yeah yeah BOD is great yeah yeah BOD is good
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Now that BOD is gone from US
He'll be missed by all of US
All the things he's done for Us
In games Away and games at Home
4 triple Crowns,
And a Grand Slam
The Best in the World
this Irish Man
Oh BOD you brought glory
and we thank you
Coz you were
just the best one
And yeah yeah BOD is great yeah yeah BOD is good
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Now that BOD is gone from US
He'll be missed by all of US
All the things he's done for Us
In games Away and games at Home
And yeah yeah BOD is great yeah yeah BOD is good
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Now that BOD is gone from US
He'll be missed by all of US
All the things he's done for Us
In games Away and games at Home
