BOD, Leo & Fez won’t be displaying their considerable talents on the pitch any more, European rugby is changing, the Pro12 is getting a new sponsor, Ireland’s forwards coach has landed himself a “Plum job”™…in fact for once it seems the only thing in the sport not getting a summer overhaul is the scrum, though there’s still time…
So far be from us here at HoR Manor to avoid joining them if we can’t beat them! Time to tinker with the admin side of things.
On June 2, 2012 we launched a companion blog, HarpinOnRugby2, or HoR2 for short. Basically the idea was that since this was a Leinster & Ireland site, we wanted somewhere to cover all aspects of rugby.
Over the past two years & two days, HoR2 has seen over 50 bloggers put their opinions out there for cyberspace to see, and we have had top notch contributions from all of them. You see them all named above and feel free to click the links to see what they have done.
And don’t worry…we still plan to feature more guest articles in the future, it’s just that it seems to make more sense now to host them all here in the one place, so that’s what we’ll be doing.
Many, many thanks to everyone who followed, commented on and of course most of all, contributed to HoR2…I haven’t had the honour of physically meeting all of them for various reasons, but even without clapping eyes on them personally you can see they are every much as passionate about the great game as we are.
