Great advert for the club game. Classic Leinster-like backline play brought tries from Matt D’Arcy and Mick McGrath; classic Munster-like blood and thunder rugby brought penalties, all slotted by MotM Tomás Quinlan. Then the Con defence earned some luck when a ricochet fell kindly for Brian Hayes leading to their only try from Rob Jermyn. Mick Kearney powered over to make the final moments tense but Tarf couldn’t find a 4th and thus Con have 2 trophies in 2 weeks.
