On this week's pod we welcome frequent Harpin contributor Big Joe Shep who tells us all about his weekly online video rugby chat show called Three Blokes, A Ball & BOD, as well as the upcoming live event called The Dugout which will be at DTwo Bar & Nightclub on Harcourt St Dublin on Friday, September 6. We also chat about the general reactions to the Irish squad. Then I do a couple of 80-word reviews, a Harpin Point about a niggly bugbear of mine, and finally there's a quote from World Rugby number 2 Agustin Pichot...or is it more of a paraphrase? JOE'S HARPIN BIO :
Joe SHEPPARD is an avid Leinster & Ireland Rugby fan who came to rugby at the late age of 24, was a tight head prop, had at least 2 good runs in every game and retired at only 36 after 3 operations on his legs. He now forms the 4th "virtual" person in a front row each time his beloved teams are playing (much to the annoyance of his suffering girlfriend who has to put up with being "embraced" by the Big Fella at each scrum!!!)
