I’d have taken a 3-0 slog in the driving rain on this particular rugby weekend but these two played well above “A” standard for a quality 80 minutes at the Kingspan. Leinster had some good displays from skipper Jack Dunne and Jamie Osborne but too many interceptions under pressure were costly while Ulster prospects like Aaron Sexton, Cormac Izuchukwu and Callum Reid stood out, led by my PotM Bill Johnston. Some outstanding tries - a highlights package couldn’t do it justice.
