On paper Wasps have a decent lineup of which Leinster should be wary a week from next Sunday, particularly in the back row. On this evidence, however, they have much to work on before then. Though competitive at the breakdown they struggled to string phases together, couldn’t handle Goneva’s line breaks and Gopperth’s baffling challenge on Tait saw yellow ending all hope of a fight back. A late Cittadini try offered little consolation as the Tigers ran out worthy winners.
