A terrible performance made to look good by a nasty foul by SBW and a cracking final 15 mins.

Poor game, lions were not convincing. ABs only really hanging in for the later stages.

But for the individual genius of both Jonathan Sexton and Conor Murray the Lions would have lost this game playing awful brainless rugby against 14 men

Regardless of the red, it's hard to overstate how significant it is for the Lions to beat these All Blacks, one of sport's greatest teams.— Dafydd Pritchard (@DafPritchard) July 1, 2017
Narrative of the game shouldn't be about the red. The Lions played all the rugby, looked to score tries, found them & won deservedly. All blacks played no rugby & lost.
Variety of the play from Sexton/ Farrell combination was the joyous viewing we should have been seeing all tour. Credit to Gatland for putting them together.
Well done Lions!

Best one yet! Bring on the last test 👏🏽 #NZLvBIL2 #LionsTour2017— Amelia (@niceBolaa) July 1, 2017
A curate's egg of a game. Individual brilliance very nearly undermined by collective indiscipline, non existent leadership from captain or coach and a bizarre reluctance to make changes when they are screaming into your face to be made. Thought the Irish lads, as well as Itoje & Farrell, were the standout performers. Changes needs to be made, especially in the forwards, for next weekend. It's a scary thought that 14 All Blacks can run a full side that close. If Barrett had his eye in, they would have won. It's that simple. The third test could make the November test in Dublin look like a tea party in terms of brutality.

The Lions win a British game in British weather in a city named after the greatest Anglo-Irishman of all timeIt was never in doubt#NZLvBIL— Dan Snow (@thehistoryguy) July 1, 2017
Stander, Webb, T'eo and Nowell still on the bench? Bonkers. Poor tactical use of a man advantage.
Why drop O'Mahony for Stander and then not use him? O'Mahony would have loved that game.

I'm sure I've just seen John Terry on the pitch at Wellington in a Lions kit #NZLvBIL2— Gareth Owen (@gjo2405) July 1, 2017
Lucky with the penalty count but fantastic result for the lions hopefully we can do this

Some poor decision making and poor execution made this a lot closer then it should have been. Gatland was lucky they fell over the line. But hey a chance to win the series next week, at the start of the tour I would have said yes please

Always good to see the All Blacks beaten. By two tries as wellMurray's crap pass to Lawes won the game ;)— Covfefe's egg (@curates_egg) July 1, 2017
If you go a man up you have to make that count. Not doing that for 45 minutes while letting NZ continue to dominate the scoreboard and territory is criminal. Lions were definitely better than last week but need to step it up again ahead of next week.

Great, gutsy victory by @lionsofficial over the @AllBlacks - great to have series decider next week. Would have been a long week without it— David Sole (@davidsole678) July 1, 2017
We beat SA when we were down to 14 men. The extra man isn't always the advantage you think.
Teams dig deep, they circle the wagons. NZ of all teams can do that.
Plenty of bs about how it wasn't a good enough win. They won. The series goes to the last game. Job done.

It's lonely being a Lions agnostic today but agnostic I remain 😁— Brian Donnelly (@bptd1234) July 1, 2017
They couldn't beat a 14 man all blacks team til last few mins. And it will now look like dropping o mahony will seem justified to some

So it's going to the wire again! Thanks to all fans who have been incredible. See you in Auckland next week 😊@lionsofficial pic.twitter.com/pmLE7hfzop— Sam Warburton (@samwarburton_) July 1, 2017

A great game overall where individuals within the Lions side did very well but it WASN'T a collective win. The 10/12 worked in the main. Mako should have been red carded. Twice in 10 minutes he was reckless. AWJ is tired and doesn't bring anything. Tackles or involved in breakdown then slowly gets up and meanders into position. Apart from Falataus try he didn't impress me. Warburton was non-existant but this narrow win against 14 will see Gatland justify keeping him in??? Great display from SOB, Itoje, Watson, Darren, Murray. 13 penalties is woeful AGAIN!!! Poor player management with lack of use of bench. Good first half but overall very VERY lucky that they played 14 for 56 minutes and ABs had a mare on kicking points. Keeps it alive for the 3rd Test though. A win is a win 😉

1977 - This is the first time since 1977 the @AllBlacks have failed to score a try v @lionsofficial, ending a run of 13 games. Blank.— OptaJonny (@OptaJonny) July 1, 2017
Bloody good game. Team changes seem to have worked. For anyone to go an beat the All Blacks in NZ is a serious achievement but to out score them 2 nil in tries is amazing. Roll on the third test

Needed the extra man and BB misses but fair play to the Lions, made the advantage count. Cool head from SOB at the end there! #NZLvBIL— Harpin' On Rugby 🏉 (@HarpinOnRugby) July 1, 2017
