Here's how Peter O'Mahony has been binding at the scrum, going under Archer's leg, rather than over Kleyn's back.It means O'Mahony has essentially been a third second row tonight.Only issue, it's not a legal bind. Should be a Leinster penalty. pic.twitter.com/MuzjXMKeFM

One hell of a game despite the dick heads saying otherwise , massive battle , well done to Leinster but they earned it ,good news for Ireland , all I want now is the World Cup 👍

It’ll be midnight at the Aviva, the lights will be out and somehow James Ryan and Dan Leavy will still be out there tackling.— Cian Tracey (@CianTracey1) October 6, 2018
James Lowe is class 🔥
Gillian Whelan
That was a brilliant game. Annoying that the ref will be the talking point though. #LEIvMUN— Sarah (@SarahMc2811) October 6, 2018
Not sure how you can win a game with so little ball. Leinster were not very good at keeping it. Great defending through the whole game. Munster fans still blaming the Ref rather then how to win.

Ross Byrne's consistent and flat out refusal to wear his man of the match medals is an under the radar mystery I feel we need to solve.— Jonathan Bradley (@JBradleyBT) October 6, 2018
Lowe on another world, what a finisher. Ross Byrne a very able deputy and good warm up for both teams with Europe coming up.
Dave Murray
We might have lost but that's the best we've played this season so far. Some decisions very hard to take. The refereeing crew had a huge impact on the game which isn't what you want #LEIvMUN— Three Red Kings (@threeredkings) October 6, 2018
Delighted for Ross Byrne and superstar James Lowe!
Deirdre Kennedy
When every single credible account on Twitter from both team colours is calling for Ben Whitehouse to be removed, something needs to be addressed.Too inexperienced for this type of fixture and frankly unfair to both teams to have had that inflicted on them.#LEIvMUN

Got lucky at times with the reffing of the breakdown but we’ll take it and move on. Liam Toland is an absolute disgrace as a commentator, the most one eyed shite I’ve ever heard
Derek Tormey
As close to a test match you could get #bluemagic #leinster #leinvmun #aviva rocking @leinsterrugby @OLSCRugby brilliant game and great win ⭐⭐⭐⭐— martin (@martinod1963) October 6, 2018
Smashing game of rugby. Leinster have raised the bar with their defence so far this season. As the year progresses they are going to get even better as their attack lets loose. A great sporting occasion today, great to see so many fans at a match which the talking heads said would be two B teams. In fact it was a full throated interpro which was played like it was a knockout fixture.
Andrew Byrne
“So Leinster win this one 30 points to 22 here in the Aviva”Liam Toland- “Yeah I thought so many of the Munster players were phenomenal tonight”
— Oisín Cleary (@oisoftheclears) October 7, 2018
When you can bring on a lad like Josh VDF to tackle everything that moves, you won't be losing too many games.
Micheal Mac An TSagart
The Munster heart breaker the brilliant James Lowe ! #LEIvMUN @jameslowenz pic.twitter.com/WZrcMnXX01— Gavin Highlife (@FMRadioGavin) October 7, 2018
Great game, absolutely astounded that with 10mins to go Munster had 78% possession at that point and were still behind!!! Great defensive effort by the boys today! Lowe is blazing out there also..... #COYBIB 💙💙💙💙
Henry Sellars
Blah blah blah blame the ref #LEIvMUN— Phil Dunne (@flyte_case) October 7, 2018
Ross Byrne 1 - 0 Joey Carbery. Also James Lowe is a scoring machine and is rapidly becoming our new Isa. Best team won and won well. It might only be 4 points in the table but it's so much more to the fans of the boys in blue. 💙💙💙
Paul Smith
How did munster have any chance.ref was all over the boys in blue, gave them penalties and tries when they were not.#LEIvMUN
— Robert Meehan (@RobertMeehan15) October 6, 2018
I don’t think it was a deliberate knock on. But he did knock on and Earls in front so a penalty.
I think ref did a better job than I expected tbh.
Martin Savage
By some distance, Munster’s best away performance this season— Ronan Murphy (@Ro_Murph) October 6, 2018
The noise during kicker’s conversions & penalties was disgraceful. Absolute embarrassment compared to Thomond.
Conor Murphy
Huge intensity. Leinster a little disjointed at times. However to beat a side who had 65% possession is always a good measure. Good workout for Leinster. #LEIvMUN— Brendan Hurley (@brendanhurley) October 6, 2018
P45 for Whitehouse and his team. Well done Leinster but as someone said on Twitter, the minis ref did a better job
Michelle Tobin
Ben Whitehouse has been laughable. That is all.#LEIvMUN
— The Loose Head (@TheLooseH) October 6, 2018
No doubt the thread will be dominated by Munster fans(were there actually any there) bleating about the ref. But a Leinster team which will make 10 changes for Europe comfortably saw off a Munster team who may or may not make 3 ( Cloete Holland & Scannell)
Andrew Bailey
Right then. Great match and preparation for Europe.Well played both teams #LEIvMUNStill have our foot on their throat @leinsterrugby 👏👏👏
— Brian Donnelly (@bptd1234) October 6, 2018
If you are blaming the ref your team was not good enough. Looking at the fan comments on the 42 Munsters fans were not asking how they could lose with 75% possession in the second half. Clue it was not the ref.
Andrew Potts
Great result for @leinsterrugby with @Munsterrugby coming away with nothing again from Lansdowne Road this was an outstanding game of Union from 2 great side @PRO14Official @IrishRugby well done @BenWhiteyRef you had a great game enjoy a Guinness— Odran OBrien (@Outhalf) October 6, 2018
Delighted with the result. There is an issue in Pro14 with standard of refs - it takes away from the competition. Calibre of ref needs to match that of the players- tonight he didn’t.
Richard Collumb
We made a dogged Munster side fight for every score while we turned half chances into full ones. Ref denied them a BP but nothing more IMO. Ross Byrne was v good but James Lowe was MotM. #COYBIB #LEIvMUN— Harpin' On Rugby 🏉 (@HarpinOnRugby) October 6, 2018
Many thanks to all who offered opinions.
