Online comments after Dragons v Leinster

Paul Smith Feels strange to be dissapointed after a BP win but we weren't the better team today. We were good at taking our chances but there was some really poor errors out there and we were shipping some terrible penalties. But ultimately in the cold light of day its still another BP on the road on an awful pitch. Fair play to the Dragons who played some good rugby and never gave up. It was definitely a game for forwards and Conan was excellent for Leinster tonight.
Gerald Williamson A bonus pt win away at a Rodney Parade pitch that even would not be fit for a J 3 match on a Sunday. How it passed inspection for a Pro 14 game I do not know. Not exactly conducive to free flowing running rugby. Leinster need to watch the penalty count. Great to see the young talent coming through and getting a run out. Well done to Jack Conan getting MOTM.
Conor Cronin I'm delighted with a BP win on the road with a team averaging an age far too close to confirmation! Not pretty, not perfect, but very important extra point.

The penalty count is very worrying, that needs to be cut way down.
Also worth asking if that pitch is up to standard, it looked horrific, I've trained on better.
Gav Heg It's great that we can rely on such players as Penny, Murphy, Maloney, McGrath, Tracy etc when some are in international camp, players that would walk into any team out there as first choice but choose to stay here.

How can a pro team in 2021 have that pitch in their home ground?
Martin Loughrey Good to get the win. Very scrappy from Leinster but all credit to Dragons in that they obviously sensed they could take us and went for it (bar the last kick). Our discipline let us down. The only thing worse than that was the state of the pitch. Shocking.
Chris McDonnell Forwards were very good. The backrow especially and again penny is a try scoring machine. Tracy just can't throw a presured lineout. Only other moan is Ross was not at the races at 12, he didn't give RoL one decent go foward pass. Even with overlaps he kicked for space. That might suit Andy farrell but leinster want to pass the ball.
Andrew Byrne That surface is not fit for purpose. The 3rd/Training pitch at my local club is in better condition at the end of a long season that the one in Rodney Parade. Dragon's use it to their advantage, dragging teams down to their level.
Fergal Bannon Pitch was a disgrace. Minor downfall away from conceding the points at this level.
Matt Hanley surface looked fine to me. Our discipline and errors were the problem.
Nigel Quigley Sam Davies' IQ took a dip :D
