The highest all time international point scorer and arguably one of the world’s best out-halves, Dan Carter, has played his 100th test match for the All Blacks.

As a tribute to this brilliant achievement, adidas and Dan Carter have collaborated to create a limited collector’s edition set of boots in Carter’s honour – The DC100 Predator Incurza.

100 box sets have been created of the Predator Incurza XT in a special colour way chosen by Carter, and are available only in Carter’s boot size, 11. Each boot showcases a number of special details including Carter’s All Blacks number #1034, his signature, the All Blacks Fern and the number of the boot from 1 to 100 of 100.

The Predator Incurza XT is Carter’s preferred playing boot and he took great pride in collaborating with adidas to create the DC100.

“I started my international career back in 2003 wearing adidas Predators. To this day I have continued to wear the adidas Predator boots. It’s easy for me to say, I think they’re amazing boots. So when adidas asked me if I wanted to help them design a custom pair of Predators to mark my 100th test, I was really keen to get involved,” says Dan Carter.

“When designing the boots I took inspiration from the colours and styles of my favourite Predators over the years, as well as the various teams I’ve played for.”

Carter made his international debut in 2003 against Wales in Hamilton where he scored 22 points and has gone on to become one of the greatest All Blacks of all time. Carter has been IRB player of the year twice, in 2005 and 2012, won four Super Rugby titles, seven Tri Nations, eight Bledisloe Cup titles and was part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup winning squad.

Carter joins an exclusive list of centurions including Tony Woodcock, Richie McCaw, Mills Muliana, and Kevin Mealamu.

“100 games is such an extraordinary feat. We wanted to do something special to recognise DC and what he has given to the All Blacks and the game in general over the years. He has also worked alongside us for the last 10 years and renewed his relationship with adidas through to 2016,” says adidas New Zealand Country Manager Quentin Bleakley.
The limited edition DC100 boots have an RRP of $400 and are available from
adidas.co.nz, allblacksshop.com, and adidas stores in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch from the 17th of November.
