Ahead of tomorrow's midday team annuncemnet the Leinster Rugby squad trained in UCD today and reported no new injuries since Monday's media event.
Kevin McLaughlin is being assessed by a consultant to ascertain the course of action required on his shoulder injury which forced his withdrawal during Friday's Guinness PRO12 win over Connacht in the RDS. Shane Jennings, who made his first appearance on Friday since returning from a hamstring injury, reported no ill effects and is once again available for selection.
Richardt Strauss has trained well this week and is also available for selection. If selected on Friday, he will earn his 100th cap for Leinster.
Once again Sean O'Brien, Marty Moore, Cian Healy and Ben Te'o took to the field and are stepping up their recovery on a daily basis with all four expected back in the next month or so.
The players involved with the Irish squad this week will return in time for the captain's run which takes place tomorrow, a day earlier than normal, with the squad then off on Christmas Day.
