RugbyWarfare is based in Cardiff, Wales so it’s a must to mention the amazing game yesterday between Wales and Ireland. The Welsh defence was outstanding and to be fair to Ireland on another day that pressure would have turned into a lot more points than what they got from it! It was also the perfect result for a neutral, one of three teams can take the title next weekend. Ireland have the best points difference but a tight game for them and England could mean Wales could sneak and take the crown. Wales need to hope they put at least 30-40 points past Italy to be in with a chance.
If I was a betting man I would put my money on Ireland (Sorry Wales!) but I’m sure Wales have been in this position before…. 30-3 anyone?
Regardless of the outcome this 6 Nations championship has given plenty of hope for the Northern Hemisphere teams going into the World Cup. It’s good to see all teams are performing well. The Scottish have been extremely unlucky to win any games, super close many times. England are finally playing to their potential, Ireland are consistently playing well and Wales are continuing to develop and improve.
