Connacht were 14-0 up at halftime, but had to fight off Edinburgh to secure the win. The fight back came in two stages, the first didn’t last long, Dean touched down in the corner just after halftime. After the Scots had struggled to get a score, Aki walked over to keep Connacht clear. The hosts got close as du Preez and Hoyland touched down. Connacht held on to go top, McKeon’s try ensuring a BP, Edinburgh secured a valuable LP.
