Yes.
That is all.

It was Italy, sure, but lots of positives for Ireland to take. Shame McCloskey and Jackson weren't involved, all the same.

I never stopped trusting Joe. Where are the whingers now?

I think they are just passing the ball to Cronin for the craic now #IREvITA #RBS6Nations

The Heaslip haters have gone extremely quiet all of a sudden. He could easily picked up motm
Damien J Doherty
Easy as hell. But Schmidt's decision to pick conservatively will now be rightly praised. #IRLvITA

Payne was my MOTM today. He clearly showed why he is, and should continue to be, Irelands 13. Defensively excellent and some great work going forward.
5 years ago Ireland looked to expand their game but after 2 losses panicked and abandoned the changes. They never really recovered from that with no clear style or approach for the next 2 years. This year we're seeing Ireland stick to the plan and back themselves. That will stand to us.

I know it's Italy but the boys needed this psychologically Chapeau lads @IrishRugby @HarpinOnRugby @BigJoeShep #COYBIG #ShouldertoShoulder

Job done. Italy really poor. Don't think we learn too much from that game. Will be more interesting next wk against Scotland
Craig Boyd
Great win, great performance. 9 tries...not too shabby.

Clearly the more expansive game plan that we wanted to play this year, reminded me of the first 30 mins against Wales. Job well done, bring on Scotland.
Andrew Byrne
Ryan MOTM wasn't even the best lock on the pitch. Stander, Heaslip, Henshaw, Trimble all superior #IREvITA

Some really good performances but against an Italian team out of gas playing an Ireland team that inside todays game that is the best most players can produce. I wouldnt agree with the flavour of some comments that there are player haters but there are opinions and one in particular might be around Jamie Heaslip and I suppose the easiest way to sum up his selection for Ireland especially this year is which of the other six nations teams would he get into. The answer NONE, and thats not hatred thats fact. We won today but thats our lot until next year and we missed a fantastic opportunity once again to give players on the fringe or outside it a place in the first 15, and to progress toward a new era. I believe Joe Schmidt is best placed to carry the team but once again wonder if the Ireland coach has full power in aelecting the team.

16 tournaments, 10 wooden spoons, 4 Game wins. It's hard to see what Italy has to offer professional rugby?
— Manus Lappin (@EmeraldRugby) March 12, 2016
Where are all the Joe doubters ? If this is the way Joe wants his team to play expansive rugby, I will buy into that. I am delighted to see that he is bringing in new players into the squad.
Gerald Williamson
Something for everyone...glass half full > quality offloading & defence. Half empty > Italy poor. I'd lean toward the full #IREvITA #jobdone
