Leinster 54-10 Dragons
Cardiff Blues 36 – 30 Connacht
Jack Carty and Jarrod Evans exchanged early penalties before Olly Robinson got over for a try. Evans converted and kicked a penalty, Connacht would level things through a try from Niyi Adeolokun, and a Jack Carty conversion and penalty. Cardiff went in at the break ahead however as Jarrod Evans kicked a penalty for the hosts, to put the Blues 16 – 13. Eoin Griffin was sinbinned early in the 2nd half for Connacht, Cardiff took advantage with a try from Matthew Morgan. Shane Delahunt got two tries either side of an Owen Lanes touch down, while Nick Williams was sent to the bin. Gareth Anscombe kicked a penalty to put the Blues 10 points clear. John Muldoon got over the line with 5 minutes to go to keep Connacht in it, but a final Gareth Anscombe penalty ensured Cardiff were the victors.
Zebre 19 – 36 Munster
Munster managed to get the win despite having two players yellow carded in the first half. Hanrahan kicked a penalty before Scannell and Hart got over for tries. Both were converted by Hanrahan. Copeland and Arnold were sent to the bin and Zebre took advantage with tries from Bisegri and Sarto. At halftime Munster led 14 – 17. Munster pushed on in the 2nd half with two tries from Wooton and a late one from Nash. Venditti got one back for Zebre.
Ulster 23 – 22 Benetton Treviso
Ulster squeaked out a victory a with a late converted try. Allan kicked Treviso ahead early on before Tommy Bowe touched down, Cooney converted to put the hosts in front. Cooney and Allan exchanged penalties, with Ulster leading at halftime, Treviso having gone down to 14 when Bronzini was sinbinned. In the second half Allan kicked a penalty before Barbieri got a try for Treviso. Leali’ifano kicked a penalty, Banks did the same to put Treviso ahead. But Ulster wouldn’t be denied, Andrew Trimble got a late try, Leali’ifano converted it to give the hosts the win.
Ospreys 6 – 47 Glasgow Warriors
Glasgow scored 7 tries on their way to maintaining their unbeaten start. It was Ospreys who opened the scoring when Sam Davies kicked a penalty. Glasgow would respond with two tries from Adam Hastings and George Horne before Davies kicked another penalty. At halftime Glasgow led 6 – 14. From then on it was all Glasgow as they got 5 2nd half tries through Cummings, Turner, Horne, Thomson, and Sarto. Hastings converted 5 of Glasgows tries.
Toyota Cheetahs 33 – 13 Edinburgh
The Cheetahs went in 14 – 0 up at halftime with tries from Craig Barry and Rynier Bernardo. Sam Hidalgo-Clyne had a 6-minute spell to remember in the 2nd half, he scored a penalty, a try, a conversion, and another penalty between the 43rd and 49th minute to make the scoreline 14 – 13, still in favour of the Cheetahs. The South Africans pushed on and got three more tries, Pokomela, Mapimpi, and Meyer touching down.
Southern Kings 30 – 34 Scarlets
Scarlets were behind for most of the game but came away with the victory with Dan Jones converted try late on. The Welsh side did take a 0 – 7 lead early on with a try from Tadhg Beirne. Kings would respond with two tries from Michael Makase and Yaw Penxe. Zono and Jones exchanged penalties, at halftime Kings led 16 – 10. The South Africans would stretch their lead immediately in the 2nd half when Martin du Toit touched down. Scarlets rallied to go in front with tries from Ioan Nicholas, and Werner Kruger, and a Dan Jones penalty. Harlon Klaasen got over to put the hosts back in front, but Dan Jones would score and convert a try with 10 minutes to go, Scarlets saw it out from there.
