Sean Michaels After such a scintillating attacking performance it may be churlish of me to mention our lapses in defence. It would be easy to gloss over these given the score line but a top team would’ve taken more advantage than the Saints did. As is the Leinster way all of this would’ve been noted and will be analysed in depth. Thought that MoM could have gone to any of 3 or 4 players.
Conor Cronin Northampton are lucky to have 21 on the board. Leinster were persistent, clinical and should have had more from that. A genuine pleasure to watch from the stand, I can't wait to watch from the couch
Leinster absolutely hammered saints there 💙— Emma 💜 (@EmmaKC99) December 14, 2019
Joe Sheppard Interesting game...... the speed, drive, belief, offloading, mutual support are incredible. It's exactly how Ireland should be encouraged to play. Quite SHesque.....Larmour (a shoing for FB at club & country) JLo, Tadhg, Ringrose all sublime. A few aspects on D to work on cos Racing, Sarries etc will exploit it better. I hope Byrne is ok. Doris is some prospect at No 8! For Saints Biggar was a good leader and they only had Olly Sleightholme as a real standout player. Solid Solid 5pts and QUALIFIED 😎🎅🎄🎁🏉🏂😎
Noel Hewson Brilliant display with some class tries. Furlong, Lowe, Ringrose and Larmour the standouts for me. That 2nd try was sweet.

Richard Mifsud A game that had everything for our coaching ticket. Sublime play that had Saints wondering why they came, good defence, defensive lapses (which the coaches will use on Monday), standout performances by internationals who are getting back to form and confidence...I could go on. The scary thing for the opposition is that I think they can play even better and even scarier is their attitude (listen to Garry’s and Felipe’s interviews). I know it’s only December but isn’t it good to be qualified for the quarters? 🤷🏻♂️ For now they provide great joy #COYBIB Leinster Rugby 🏉❤️🔵
Martin Loughrey Another great performance that means we're one step closer to the final, and I'm one step closer to having to tell my wife that I already have a ticket and a hotel booked! I thought that we were caught napping a couple of times but with that scoreline can we really complain?! Roll on the Blue Machine.
In December 2011 Leinster beat Bath in the Aviva to signal their imperial phase. They're looking pretty similar to that right now #LEIvNOR— David Cahill (@docathail) December 14, 2019
Derek Tormey Defensively a bit lackluster and thought ref was quite kind to us but overall look in good fettle. Important now to nail down a top two seeding because I think Sarries will sneak through and could use the home advantage there.
Martin Byrne Outstanding rugby. Well done Leinster. But one of my worst experiences in Aviva ever. I was astonished how many people were NOT watching the match. I was lucky enough to be seated at Premium Level but huge numbers of people never took their seats and many were not even watching the game while inside at the bars. Then the movement of people in & out of the bars from their seats was even more distracting. I know of dozens of genuine fans who would have loved to attend this game. It’s a shame their places were taken by people who weren’t even interested in the match. Rant over.
Larmour's "defenders beaten" numbers just tripled on that last run.— The Loose Head (@TheLooseH) December 14, 2019
Holy cow.
Johnny Grimes Cracking! Loads of happy people in the Aviva this evening. Every time the backs got a hold of the ball they looked lethal. Ref featured a bit too much in the game unnecessarily but to be fair - within 6 mins the script was written & 50 points is an incredible achievement against saints! Larmour - take a bow!! Beating Ringer to man of the match took some effort tonight!!
James Griffin A joy to watch but a pain in the arse for those of us who are not ‘blue’. Congrats!
Northampton still a very good team but Leinster are exceptionally good, and oh my, Jordan Larmour. #LeiNor pic.twitter.com/rlIa1v1qL2— Jim Hamilton (@jimhamilton4) December 14, 2019
Sebastian Brennan Mr Larmour take a bow! What a performance, by whole team. They worked very well together even with few sloppy moments. Saints were on back foot majority of the game, and there was this festive feeling of job well done when final whistle came. And as they can still improve, it’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out.
Gerald Williamson At times one would think that Leinster were playing 7's rugby with the way they were able to create space for themselves. The off loading running (SH) style of rugby suits Leinster down to a tee. There were at least 3 or 4 guys deserving MOTM, but " twinkle toes" Jordan Larmour deserved it in the end.

Dave Murray Entertaining game. In good nick for the interpros. Larmour sensational and it's his jersey to for club and country. Video of a possible iffy clear out at a ruck by James Ryan doing the rounds already? Anything to worry about?
Katie McElvaney Lovely game and ringrose played a great first half
Larmour coming of age, I remember seeing him play a few years ago at school level thinking hes gonna be a star. Hoping Farrell looks at what himself and players like Ringrose can do and builds a gamelan to suit— #rugbyireland (@RugbyIre) December 14, 2019
Damian Scott English Premiership bleating on for years on how unfair they had it in the Heineken Cup. Went and ruined it and forced the Champions Cup takeover only to now a few years later send weakened teams as they want to concentrate on their league?!?! Making a mockery of the competition sending over teams like that to get steamrolled. If you’re in, you’re all in.
Andrew Potts Leinster played some great rugby, Saints looked a little shell shocked. Did feel there were nearly two sets of laws at the breakdown. Saints seemed to get a freebe for hands in

✅ Seven tries away to Northampton
✅ Seven tries at home to Northampton
It's going to take something special to stop @leinsterrugby! 👊 pic.twitter.com/jeWutXheKt
Riocard Ó Tiarnaigh All 23 were brilliant. I'd like to mention Dave Kearney for being back to his best, Ciarán Frawley on his first Euopean performance in which he was not in the slightest over awed, and Max Deegan for his work rate when he came off the bench!!! Thrilled by the result and most of all by The Leinster Way!!!
Imelda Reidy Leinster are scary. Honestly can't see anyone beating them this season.
A player who scored a hat trick being cheated here - Ringrose made that win. #LEIvNOR— ger (@stranglemint) December 14, 2019
Eiméid O Fathartaigh Fantastic win for the Blue Men from the East, if they keep this up and shore up the full defence they'll be unstoppable. Still think Toulouse and Racing are major threats
Martin Moore How can a team with a points difference of -42 be above a team with a points difference of +10
Didn't feel the cold at all tonight in the Aviva as we were on 🔥 from the start. Ross Byrne, Doris, Larmour and of course Ringrose all impressed but yet again it was a team effort that set us apart. What more can I say but "keep it going lads..."? #COYBIB #LEIvNOR— Harpin' On Rugby 🏉 (@HarpinOnRugby) December 14, 2019
Many thanks to all who offered opinions.
