Conor Cronin In the last 30 minutes Northampton spent about 75% of it in our 22 and scored nothing. Leinster get down to theirs for 2 and it's try time. They had no answer to Leinster in offense or defence. You can't rely on penalties against Leinster.
Incredible performance from so many players, working hard for each other, playing like a team who know they've young lads coming up looking for their jerseys.
Martin Loughrey So you're looking for 5 points on the road against the #1 team in the Premiership? No problem.
Great game @leinsterrugby The boys done good. Watched on my phone in a French cafe in Wroclaw, Poland. Thankful for technology!! ๐ Hoping @JohnnySexton is ok ๐ค๐ปRoll on the Aviva next Saturday ๐ #ChampionsCup #NORvLEI @ChampionsCup #COYBIB #BlueArmy— JackieMc (@Jackiem23) December 7, 2019
Sean Michaels Just on train back from the game, via a couple of local pubs. Have to say what a proper rugby ground Franklin Gardens is with fans to match. Unfortunately for the Northampton fans whilst they thought they were in with a chance at half time we just blew them away with ruthless finishing and superb defending. Undoubtably there were some really good individual performances but JdV was awesome and more than deserved his MoM.
Noel Hewson I felt a performance was on the cards but not one as dominant as this was. Took their chances and defence was solid as always. Cap it off next week with the win and a home quarter is on the cards
Huge effort from the lads ๐๐ป Doris and Van Der Flier we’re non-stop, should be an interesting one next week #NORvLEI #ChampionsCup— Niamh (@Niamh_Byrne13) December 7, 2019
Paul Smith Wow, just wow! Superb performances against a good side. 7 tries away from home against the Premiership leaders speaks volumes. Hats of to Leo, his two calls on JGP and Larmour were superb, both could easily have been MOM except for the one man wrecking machine that is VDF.. Worrying about Johnny, hopefully it's not as bad as it looks, and also Ryan who took a knock but was also exhausted after another fantastic shift. More of the same next week and a home QF will almost be in the bag. Allez Les Bleus !!!
John Peeters At time Leinster’s defence was breathtaking. Each week they keep raising the bar and getting better. It is easy to say but this is a good template to use at international level
Huge win by @leinsterrugby ๐ Doesn’t look good for J10. Bring on next week, need to stay focussed, expect a back lash #NORvLEI ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐— Audrey Hevey (@Audhev77) December 7, 2019
Neil Keegan Perfect team management up to this point sets up that result. Every single player is an important part of the machine and they played like it.
Fantastic stuff, but we have to remember the opposition play in the premiership which is not good.
Looking forward to next week. See you all there
Paul Higgins Bloody brilliant! Great to see Doris step up and Josh VDF was everywhere - very well-deserved MOTM ☘
That was fun ๐. Thanks @leinsterrugby #NORvLEI roll on Lansdowne!— Dory Lawery (@Doryo) December 7, 2019
Richard Mifsud Leinster’s defence is as diverse as it is scary for the opposition. I’m sure there’s a posh name for it but all I can think of is that our D is offensive (if that makes sense). The cohesion is an absolute joy to watch no matter who is on the field. The switch and transition to attack is equally brilliant and our patience in the opposition 22 is ruthless. JvdF easily the MOTM but there were other candidates, which is credit to the team. For me the moment of the match happened in the 70 something minute when it was ‘Furlong with a carry through the midfield and a beautiful offload to Toner who then carries for a few more metres and offloads to his supporting runner Furlong’...AWESOME ๐ The one blight on the match is of course Jonny’s injury here’s hoping it’s not too bad ๐ค๐ป
Robert Purfield Unreal. Larmour would sidestep you in a phone box. Excellent defence in the second half too
Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE shift from the @leinsterrugby team today away from home ๐๐๐ผ๐๐ป so proud of the boys ๐๐ผ

Robert Cashell The Northampton fans eventually capitulated and agreed Leinster were the better team , particularly having been in our half for a time going nowhere.
Eimรฉid O Fathartaigh Absolutely fantastic win, a number of Saints fans have said we will win the Heineken Cup.
#NORvLEI Leinster scored everytime they got inside the 22, while Saints got points from probably 50% of their visits.Huge defensive shifts from Leinster forwards.

Kevin Kelehan The performance was very good and it is the third one on the bounce. Hopefully Johnny is OK. Hard to see this team not in the final if they stay this clinical
James Griffin Saints forsaken by Church and Porter and then Byrned. Congrats!
Statement performance and win from Leinster.Spent the second half defending out try line without conceding apart from first and last 5 ish minutes, scored 4 tries from 4 trips to their 22 in those 10 minutes. #NORvLEI #Leinster

Odran John OBrien Outstanding from Leinster and in my opinion you can see Felipe Contepomi stamp all over the lay off and general handling
David Topping Great performance by Leinster and Van Der Flier had a absolute monster game.
Leinster's best performance of the season. A huge statement to pick up 7 tries away at the Premiership leaders. Defence was incredible, van der Flier utterly phenomenal. Enjoyed that. More please. #NORvLEI— Hugo Gordon (@HugoGordon1) December 7, 2019
Anton Phelan It sounded as the Northampton coach has already raised the white flag when he said he will take a new team to Dublin or did I hear wrong
Joe Fo Sho We dominated even with 14 men!
That was pretty satisfying.
7 tries, on the road, against the Prem leaders. This bloody team #NORvLEI

Richard Collumb Unbelievable performance- one of their best on the road in this competition
Annette Delaney A brilliant result
7 tries away to Prem leaders is of course amazing but I can't help but focus on just the one try conceded despite them throwing the kitchen sink at us. Our 22 was where their linebreaks went to die - outstanding organisation with JVDF leading the way. #NORvLEI— Harpin' On Rugby ๐ (@HarpinOnRugby) December 7, 2019
