Canada showed they can do damage from the kickoff as they built an early 15-3 lead thanks to a pair of Aaron Carpenter tries. Perhaps the 33rd minute yellow for outhalf Underwood was harsh, but the Tongans clawed their way back more because the home side were completely hockeyed (Canadian sports pun intended) at the scrum. With half of the Six Nations in their pool (including Ireland first) they’ll have to learn to play for 80 minutes to be competitive.
