There I was earlier this afternoon watching the cricket to pass the time before the big Springboks v All Blacks match when I caught this great bit of Ireland v England banter between former internationals Kyle McCallan and Dominic Cork.
Fair play to Cork for "playing the role of the baddy" to perfection, or at least that's what I assume he was doing!
Here's the full exchange...I reckon we can chalk this up as another Irish victory!!!
KM : “...I think Irish cricket has had its fair share of success itself.”
DC : “You’re still not going to go on about beating England are you? You’re not still clinging on with that result?”
KM : “England, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Pakistan, West Indies, it’s not just about England, Dominic!”
DC : “Isn’t it?”
KM : “Although I have to say any time that Ireland beats England in any sport we’ll rejoice & celebrate”
DC : “Yeah, that doesn’t happen very often, does it?”
KM : “Do you not watch the rugby, Dominic?”
