Munster pack beat us up. Best team on the day won.

Kicked the ball away too much at times and weak up front at times. Didn't play well in the second half. Made Munster look better than they are.

Tom Clarke

Power Munster played very well in fairness

1st half: Fairly solid display, Strong D and could have exploited munster gaps more. Disappointing to go in behind at H-T but we DID have opportunities. 2nd half: Fell apart!! Poor series of wasteful box-kicks / kicks, lacked composure and strength. Munster V V strong as a tight XV and it REALLY showed despite a strong Leinster finish. Overall: Weak Leinster beaten by V strong Munster and not even a LBP..... Q: What is happening with our lineouts??? 🤔😓😓😓🤔

Joe Sheppard

Much better improvement compared to same match 2 years ago, missing about 20 players but for any success this year we will need a fully fit squad but with full strength team would be confident

Leinster lost the game up front & did miss the front liners. Munster outbossed Leinster quite frankly.

I can forgive playing sloppily when you make all those changes. What i can't forgive is players getting lazy. Which is what we got in the second half. Kick chase, linespeed, supporting our ball carrier all dropped way off in the second half. Be another 10 changes next week.

Better team won, first half was ok, second Munster took over, I didn't think Gibson park controlled the game very well today and I've been impressed by him previously. Conan did well.

Kicking was absolutely appalling. Munster imperious. There was only ever going to be one result once Leinster put out that team

Decent first 40 given the selection. Conceding the try off the final play was a tipping point. 2nd half we were put to the sword. Munster (who thoroughly deserved it) laid bare a lack of experience with panic ensuing early in the 2nd 40. Very few out there put their hands up other than Jack Conan and Dan Leavy. JGB was found out but I suppose that's down to him not having a dominant pack, which is where this game was won and lost (as ever). That being said his decision making was somewhat suspect in the 1st 40 too. Yes we fielded a weakened side but I for one am not using that as an excuse. I'm sure Leo and SL will learn from this and take us forward. Not being a fair weather fan I'm hardly going to panic over one poor performance I'd rather take stock at season's end. We're still second aren't we? 😜 if we get two BPWs next two games the boys will be brilliant again I suppose 😏 Just thought I'd say that last bit to add some context. This is not soccer!

I've never seen Isa be so invisible in a game and Kirchner was a liability. Conan was awesome. But Munster were better :D

Pretty much as expected. Predicted before the game that we'd lose by 8-12 and we lost by 12. Predicted we'd pretty much get parity in the scrum but struggle at the line out. We did. Can't really be too upset with that. Still frustrated that the scheduling prevented this from being a real contest, but thems the breaks. Happy enough to park it and move on. Some good experience for guys like Ross Byrne and ROL too.
