Nacewa should be recognised as at least the best player in Europe. Sets the standard every time. First one to celebrate the successes of young players. Invaluable captain. Whatever Stuart Lancaster had to say at half time really woke them up. What a combo. #5stars

Red card will take a lot of the attention but maybe that's no harm! 5 tries, can't complain with that esp losing Joey and Rob! Still loads to work on but very very happy! Tadgh unreal again!

Denise O'Brien

Northamptons pack weren't up for the challenge and the rest fell away from there. Hartley's red card will be the main talking point but this was an encouraging performance from Leinster, especially with some of the debutants showing their worth.

Cian Ormond

Stunning win at a tough ground. Hartley showing what a scumbag he is once again. The boys in blue sending out a massive signal tonight, watch out Europe, Leinster are back. Very, very happy Blues fan tonight.

Leinster need to play like that all the time. Got the bp and still went after another try. Isa leading by example again. There's an awful lot of positive to take from a performance like that. Need to back it up with more of the same next week

Overall a very professional performance though some things to work upon, which is a good thing as it keeps us on our toes. Started brilliantly, then we lost our way somewhat, which is a concern, though a lot of that is probably down to the change at half back until Ross Byrne got his feet under the table. That being said we responded well to their (self inflicted) purple patch, which was a big plus. I agree that a high tempo game was required but we needed to use a bit of patience in certain phases of play, which would have made that match even easier. I think this is down to Luke McGrath and something he'll learn from. If we learn to mix it up we are seriously going places. In sum an absolutely brilliant performance and extremely proud of the boys. A lot of talk about what happened on a previous head to head with Saints so I expect another big performance next week. What a weekend...and it's still Friday 😜 #COYBIB

This was a good win with the new kids on the block settling in really well. Those in charge of the Academy are really doing a great job in producing the goods (players) should take a bow.

I honestly thought the momentum switched when Joey Carberry left the field but I'm quite happy to admit I was wrong. I was a bit nervous about his replacement, Ross Byrne, but I think I judged him unfairly after the drop in performance during the second half of last week's tie with the Dragons. His assist for Rory O'Loughlins try was a fantastic bit of play - I think both of these players really earned their stripes tonight.

Unfortunately, it looks like Dylan Hartley's outrageous challenge on Sean O'Brien is going to garner most of the attention; the red card definitely made sure that Leinster came away with an easy five points, although the team put in a solid performance to make it so.

While it seemed a relatively easy win, there was a price to be paid with the number of injuries picked up (to both sides in fairness). It will be interesting to see next week's selections and with the potential of reaching the quarter finals coming into focus, next week will be a crucial game for Leinster - can't wait to be there.

Nothing like seeing an English pack get driven back at full tilt

Darragh Crossan

Bloody delighted. Ross Byrne is our 3rd/4th string out half. Talented but not ready. We lost a lot of direction when Carbery went off yet still got the TBP and a 27 point win. Anyone who is anything other than delighted is simply a grinch. 😂

John Molloy

Fantastic result but not perfect. Once again the lineout was poor.

Chris "The Grinch" McDonnell ;-)

5 points away and not against an Italian team or French team that have checked out is a very good performance. Nice blend of youth & experience.

Richard Collumb

Great to see so many young players stepping up to European level. 5 tries showed a ruthlessness needed to succeed at this level. Not perfect, plenty of room for improvement which makes for a very exciting future.

Andrew Byrne

Delighted for Stuart Lancaster. The result is a testament to his ability to bring our academy lads through and the red card a vindication of his judgement of character. And that with Eddie Jones looking on!! Hilarious!!!!!

Riocard Ó Tiarnaigh

Great to see young players coming in doing the business. They really need to be up for next week though

Robert Purfield

Adam Byrne had a great game, but seemed uncomfortable under the high ball.

Morgan Flanagan Creagh

Can't say much more then what Baz C. Ryan has said other then he must be the best over seas player to have played in Ireland and saying that it over Felipe Contepomi but Triggs Toner Furlong and Ruddock were outstanding what can you say about Gibson Park's try

Odran John OBrien

As mentioned above, the red card will make the headlines but Leinster's tight 5 were immense, back row were solid and as always the backs were troublesome. A fantastic Leinster side coming through.
