Super first half, took the foot off the gas a bit second half. Young guns are fairly proving themselves

Joey Carberry doing his Lions bolter chances no harm today. Quality act. Only issue is he's not Welsh #LEIvWAS— The Rugby Pod (@TheRugbyPod) April 1, 2017
Joey Carberry take a bow. Ringrose, O'Brien, Furlong all wonderful. Blue magic is back 💙

Bloody marvellous. On we March. #LEIvWAS— CatherineKavanagh48% (@KavanaghCk) April 1, 2017
Carbery fantastic going forward, but can lose concentration in defence. SOB my MOTM. Conan, Ringrose, Henshaw and Triggs excellent also.
We've a big issue at 9 though. Both were poor enough.

That'll be game over. Really need to work on our basic skills and defence. Can't rely on the Hollywood-style skills alone.— Miss L (@MissLundgaard) April 1, 2017
Could've been a totally different game if Le Roux had just dotted down. Moments of absolute class from Carberry but also mistakes which will be punished in France. Loads of lads stood up today, very much a team performance.

Leinster have really benefited this season from two scrum halfs that dominate their breakdown, the quick ball is a God send for the back line, God help any forward that gets in their way. the standard of passing from Carbery and Gibson Parke is wonderful and most of the others in the back line have upped their game. Caught a little flat footed for the tries but their back three are real quality and it showed in their tries. Amazing performance by Leinster and hats off to G Dempsey who has groomed many of these young players and given them the good habits they have.
Finally did Nigel start to compensate a bit after their mishap?

Totally dominant performance from Leinster Rugby. So many incredible performances it's hard to call out anyone in particular but have to say Carbery is getting better week on week at 15. I knew it was our day when Le Roux butchered that chance and the try just before half time was pivotal. Hats off to Wasps and Gopperth in particular for making it a bit nervous for a while, but there's no doubt the best team won today. Leinster are a serious side this year and we could go all the way and add star number 4 to next years jersey. Allez Les Bleus !!!

Absolutely cracking test match from 2 great sides Happy we won @leinsterrugby #COYBIB Safe trip home @WaspsRugby #LEIvWAS @HarpinOnRugby— Richard Mifsud (@Richmif) April 1, 2017
Great performance from Leinster. The Academy production line is paying dividends & long may it last.
Gerald Williamson
That was v impressive by Leinster. And one of those days where you look at a player and think "he's got something special in his boots"#JC— Andy McGeady (@andymcgeady) April 1, 2017
Some great running by Ringrose, Carbery & SOB. Defensively Henshaw was solid, but he was caught for pace on a few occasions.
Conan had a good game as well.

Semi finals here we come! We'll find out tomorrow evening who we will face and where on the weekend of 21/22/23 April.— Leinster Supporters (@OLSCRugby) April 1, 2017
That was an earned win! A few errors that were punished and need scrutiny as Clermont / Toulon / Sarries will punish us more. Some great standout players today. Yes Carberry is class but as a retired Prop I'm shouting out Furlong, Triggs, SOB & Leavy. Not bad for a team JUST back together for the first time. More to come. Feeling VERY pleased 😎😎😎

How fucking good is Robbie Henshaw? Everywhere today— Colm O'Donoghue (@ColmODonoghue) April 1, 2017
Seriously good not just today today but all season. Two tiny issues some of the subs took a while to get to grips with the game ( moloney and bent ) and the lineout again a worry. - We need to take the lineout calls off toner or he needs to call more on himself

A friend (Niall Purcell) was very accurate in pointing out that when Cipriani made his first mistake, his head went down and that was really it. His quality is dependent on him doing things right. Leinster were better in pretty much every position. I would have been most worried about le Roux and Beale, and with the exception of the Ash splash fail, they were nullified. Great work by Leinster to get a really good European win.

@leinsterrugby Relax and enjoy the game tomorrow. We are DOING this! #ChampionsCup— The Kenmeister (@the_kenmeister) April 1, 2017
I was at this today , great game and a great performance from Leinster , they went out to do a job slow the ball down and control the game and they did that with aplomb. I need to watch it back but it felt like the crowd focused Nigel on the willie Le roux try , some buzz round the ground when it was denied !
Declan O'Brien
@BrianODriscoll the most disappointed man @btsportrugby calling @WaspsRugby "we" unbelievable @leinsterrugby @IrishRugby @IRFURugby 😢😢😢😢— Odran OBrien (@Outhalf) April 1, 2017
Not bad from the boys in blue. Hayden running every time he got the ball, Gary's wicked footwork, Joey using head instead of muscles (except that one time he decided he can jog back to get the ball in our 22 when wasps were sprinting to get it). More focus will be needed in France for sure. And special thank to Nigel the ref for another great day in the office. Can we clone him?? 😃

Congratulations @leinsterrugby A quality outfit on & off the field. Deserved winners today. Best of luck in the rest of the @championscup— Wasps (@WaspsRugby) April 1, 2017
Actually today emphasises what I've said for years. We need to have a promotion/relegation thing where the bottom teams int he Pro12 are relegated to the premiership and the top Premier teams make it into the Pro 12. We'd have teams like Wasps and Saracens in the Pro 12, making it more interesting, and Zebre would win a few games in the Premiership
Brendan Murray
Wasps principal tactic seems to be "test that young Carbery chap" and he's passing with flying colours so far. #COYBIB #LEIvWAS— Harpin' On Rugby (@HarpinOnRugby) April 1, 2017
(NB - That was sent during the first half...I tried to tweet at full-time but it never got sent, probably due to tens of thousands of smartphones being used all at once in the Aviva Stadium! It was along the lines of "Very happy with Leinster - Carbery, Henshaw & Ringrose especially, very disappointed with Wasps but France here we come")
Many thanks to all who offered opinions.
Look out Monday for our match writeup JLP
