HoR highlights Aug 5-11

• Monday I did a rant about how we should be marketing the game.
• Felix McCabe had a look at some of the new faces in the English Premiership.
• We met Mr RE Ferry, esteemed rugby official, who will give us his views on reffing throughout the season.
• Facebook Likes held steady at 836, top discussion was about sprinting egg-chasers.
• Our Connacht columnist John O’Sullivan picked his ideal starting XV for the new campaign.
• The new Midweek Quiz had its first night which saw four qualify for the playoffs – more will  join them this coming Wednesday!
• My Blue Magic column looked ahead to the Leinster v Gloucester match in Tallaght.
• Keego is looking forward to the season but has one particular date in mind.
• The Twitter following is up to 3288, top tweet was a picture of a couple of boxing “ring-ers”.
• On Friday we met our English member of our Lions Selector Panel and he showed us how his pre-season XV stacked up.
• Finally Saturday I sent tweets & Facebook posts from the match in Tallaght including this halftime report.
