A scrappy affair in both senses of the word...turnover tennis throughout and a big shamozzle after just 12 minutes. Each team scored a characteristic first-half try with Kockott chipping one through for Grosso and number 8 Qera powering over for the home side but in the end it was a series of 3-pointers, many won by Montpellier’s all-Georgian front row and mostly converted by Botica after starting 10 Catrakillis went off with a head knock, that won the day.
