A lot of our young/new guys stepped up. O'Loughlin looks like a real find, JVDF and Leavy carried well, JGP looks like a class signing and Nagle did a great Dev Toner impression.
Big plaudits for Noel Reid though. In the last 10 minutes alone he stopped a rampaging Jenkins and Williams. Really has played well in last two games against good opposition.

@HarpinOnRugby @leinsterrugby Made hard work of that but no mean feat going to @cardiff_blues and getting a result. Well done both teams— Joe Sheppard (@BigJoeShep) October 1, 2016
There is a hint here that Leinster could become a very good team. That Leinster flaw of inviting teams back into a game will cost us, we have had it forever and it should eradicated by now. One or two players becoming good a few others realising their potential and a few brave selection decision could be the spark needed.

Nothing we did was going to be good enough tonight... crowd proud of the boys though— Cardiff Blues SC (@CardiffBluesSC) October 1, 2016
Noel Reid's defence wins the game for Leinster. Delighted to be able to type those words.

Great result given the team and also how Cardiff have started the season. However, we still have a major problem staying focused for 80mins. This week we went asleep in the second quarter.

Classy comments from anonymous keyboard warriors across the ditch about refereeing. Quite something to accuse a ref of being bent.

Still think we are far from our best. But 6 weeks ago I'd have bit your hand off for 4 wins from 5. If I'm being totally honest to I don't know how we got away with scoring that try looked a defo double movement but I'm not complaining

Take a bow Noel Reid. Slowed down Nick Williams and pounced on the loose ball. Great away win. #COYBIB #CBLvLEI— Harpin' On Rugby (@HarpinOnRugby) October 1, 2016
Many thanks to all who offered opinions.
