In a complete contrast to last week, Montpellier found it impossible to break down the opposition defence. Perhaps it was the influence of Mike Ford starting to show for Toulon, perhaps it was Ben Botica’s inability to get the job done even during a prolonged second half purple patch. Gorgodze powered over first for the home side then a yellow card for Geli gave the space for Tuisova to cross and Liam Gill clinched the try bonus at the death.
