LEINSTER A 27-10 CARDIFF BLUES PS
Leinster’s mix of senior team experience and Academy prospects jumped to a 17-0 lead thanks to a penalty try followed by a strong finish by inside centre/placekicker Frawley. The visitors had a good third quarter pulling within seven but eventually tired and with strong runs from the likes of Larmour pinning them back, the pressure told and a wayward dart fell to Ed Byrne who sealed the win before captain Ross Molony pinched an arguably fortunate BP at the death.
