Argentina XV 57 – 12 Chile
González opened the scoring for Argentina XV with a penalty, he then converted Portillos try. Chile got on the board just before the half hour mark, after a quick lineout Ianiszewski out paced the defence to get over. Chile went down to 14 with Richard being sent to the bin, Argentina XV got a penalty try and another from Videla to stay in control at halftime, leading 24 – 5. Chile caught Argentina XV off guard with a quick tap and go, Zunino getting it down, Ianiszewski converted. From there it was all Argentina XV, tries from Resino, Zapata, Ferronato, Granella, and Sbrocco gave Argentina XV the bonus point win. González converted one of those tries, with Granella converting three. Chile had two more players shown yellow, Soto and Avalli went to the bin.
Brazil 18 – 27 Uruguay
Uruguay mounted a 2nd half comeback to beat Brazil. Van Niekerk got the games first try for Brazil, which was converted by Reeves, who then kicked two penalties. Albanell got Uruguay on the board with a penalty, before Sancery got the second try for Brazil, which had them 18 – 3 up. Just before halftime Vettoratu was sent to the bin for the home side. Uruguays comeback began 6 minutes into the second half, Kessler got a try, which was converted by Albanell. Just past the hour mark Magno got over the line, Inciarte would follow suit to put Uruguay in front, both tries were converted by Albanell. Albanell kicked a late penalty to deny Brazil a losing bonus point.
USA 29 – 10 Canada
USA powered on in the 2nd half to beat Canada. Tries from Augspurger and MAtyas were converted by Magie, as the USA took control. Parfrey got one back for Canada, Staller kicked the conversion. Staller kicked a penalty in the second half, but that would be it for the scoring for Canada. Germishuys got a try which Magie converted. Hooley kicked a penalty before USA had Dolan sent to the bin. Matyas got over for his second to seal the win. The USA has not been defeated by Canada since August 2013.
