I have nothing against Romanian rugby but I must admit I was up for Canada here. They started this one brightly moving the ball “sevens” style as always and building a 15-0 lead thanks to splendid finishes from Van der Merwe and especially Hassler. Unfortunately their poor place kicking kept the margin close enough for Romania to came back the way they know best through the forwards, and after two tries of their own a Vlaicu penalty pinched the spoils.
