Samoa were well-disciplined in the first-half, and used their own restarts effectively to gain a 3-point lead at halftime, with Rey Lee-Lo proving impossible to handle. The back-and-forth nature of the opening 40 didn’t carry over to the second-half, Samoa seemed tired and Scotland controlled the pace, Greg Laidlaw was outstanding and scored the winning try as the Scots secure progression.
