Los Teros once again approached this game with the spirit of their forebears in the "Andès Disaster" of 1972. Refusing to quit and coming close to scoring a number of times, only naivety and indiscipline failed them at the final hurdle, allowing England to exploit opportunities throughout the game. Standouts were a superb Care, Slade (try), Watson (2 tries), Nowell (hat trick) who with a well deserved hat trick for MOTM No 8 Nick Easter and penalty try sealed victory.
