CHEETAHS 26-29 GLASGOW WARRIORS
The first half tries came from styles of rugby we’d expect from these two...Cheetahs making the most of broken play for Petersen and Specman to cross, Warriors’ Gibbins scoring after patient phase-building. A different 2nd half story; Stapelberg’s 3-pointers kept edging the hosts ahead yet it was Glasgow’s directness from deep that earned the BP win with Gibbins again, Pyrgos and finally Harley completing impressive combinations. Not the Scots’ best outing overall yet they still go into European campaign unbeaten.
