Satisfactory win. Foundations were improvement in a couple of key areas. Stand out was the line out which had been misfiring - 100% today (well done Treacy) and a solid platform to build from. Leadership also - Luke McGrath was missed v Edinburgh and brings a lot in this area. I thought Henshaws return after layoff was really strong - by contrast CJ (hes a legend you know!!) and Murray were anonymous.

Not clinical enough need to take chances better but early in season, need to learn from this for Europe

Lessons learned for both sides as we face French opposition next weekend. Discipline is key.

Yipeeeee ! Ok now I've got that off my chest I can comment. No doubt the best team won today. We looked a lot more in control than we have for most of the season. Furlong was superb, Johnny excellent, great finish by O'Loughlin for the first try but for me MOM was Carbery who was superb. Some great fielding by Byrne but needs to work on his defense. Not perfect but always nice to get a win against our rivals and sets us up well for a big game next weekend.

Munster less ideas than me in the leaving cert.  Earls is an amazing player to watch live, Conway was dangerous for them. But Leinster didn't have to do anything to win that

Was hoping for more of a fight before next weekAfter reading the harpin' write up of last weeks match I gave a lot more attention to Carberry's role in restarting Leinster's attack this week. He was fantastic again; his clearance kicks were spot on and he made ground when he kept the ball in hand by weaving his way through Munster's line. I wasn't sure about Leinster playing him at 15 to be honest; I felt he had more of an impact at 10 but it makes a lot more sense now.

Decent win, thought the scoreline flattered Munster a little.
Big fan of Sexton, but was surprised he got MOTM. His kicking was a bit hot and cold and he only got the backline going on a few occasions. I would have gone for O'Loughlin myself. Took his tries well but was creative in attack and solid in defence.
It would have been Earls if Munster had won. I thought he was excellent today.

Well deserved win, made it a little hard for ourselves. Just need to sharpen up the finishing. Bit nervous about next week

Andrew Potts

Should have won by a lot more i thought, though no complaints. Be mouthwatering when James Lowe and Ringrose are on the pitch.

Micheal Mac An TSagart

O'Loughlin as much as I like him was our weakest link and still scored two trys? Unreal. Sexton has become an invaluable leader. Whoever planned to exploit Hanrahan as a weakness was spot on! Same 15 next week. Need consistency

Leinster were always in control. Munsters big players were anonymous. Sexton dictated things well. I thought O'loughlan did well contrary to others.

Colin Campbell

Well done Leinster , wasn't Munsters day , we'll march on

Niall Counihan

To be honest fairly disappointed. That's the most one dimensional I have ever seen Munster and I think it's a worry that we conceded so many points to them. Don't get me wrong, it's good to get a win but Munster offered less than nothing and we let them into the game. When it comes to better opposition we will get punished for that.

Many thanks to all who offered opinions.
