As if competing with their predecessors’ title-winning CVs wasn’t enough, Kieran Keane and Dave Rennie were also facing the wild Western weather. This led to a succession of scrums from numerous niggly knockons. Second-half tries from Ali Price and Lee Jones capitalised on mistakes from Cian Kelleher and Matt Healy - the home side had no answer. Glasgow protected the ball using multiple clearouts on each breakdown and could reap even more reward on a drier track if not countered.
